For seniors  in specific locations in NSW
This service is for:
- Seniors, aged 65+
- First Nations people, aged 50+
- People in Port Macquarie, Kempsey, South West Rocks, Smithtown, Gladstone (NSW), Wauchope, Laurieton, North Haven (NSW), Lake Cathie, Dunbogan, Kew (NSW), Kendall, Johns River, Taree, Wingham, Bonny Hills, Foster, Old Bar, Tuncurry, Harrington, Liverpool, Fairfield (NSW), Bankstown, Ingleburn, Minto, Newcastle and Maitland (NSW), NSW

This fee covers the cost to deliver this service. We do not receive any other funding for this service.
If you have a full pension, you won’t have to pay for this service.
If you don't have a full pension, you will need to do an income assessment with Services Australia or the Department of Veterans’ Affairs. This will work out how much you need to pay.
When your income assessment is done, we'll send you a care agreement that clearly explains your services and any fees.
This way, you'll know exactly what to expect from your care package and how we'll support you.

When you're approved for a home care package, there's usually a waiting period before your care can begin. But you don't have to wait to talk with us about your needs.
You can contact us after your initial My Aged Care assessment. If you are eligible for home care services, we'll talk through how we could support you to live well in your home.
Or, if you have your My Aged Care referral code, get in touch and we can start arranging your support straight away.
