How we help
CARES Connection offers free classes designed especially for carers. Every term features a different activity, giving you the chance to move your body, clear your mind and connect with others who understand your experiences.
After each class, there's time to relax and chat with other carers. All fitness levels and experience are welcome.
This program is for unpaid carers who live, work or spend time in Knox and care for a family member with a chronic health condition, disability or mental illness.
Who is it for?
For in specific locations in VIC
This service is for:
- undefined, aged 18+
- People in Rowville, Ferntree Gully, Scoresby, Wantirna South, Boronia, The Basin, Wantirna, Bayswater and Knoxfield, VIC
How it works
We are a welcoming space
We create a friendly, private place where everyone feels respected and understood.
We receive government funding so we can provide our support at no cost or for a small fee.
This program is funded by Knox City Council and is free for unpaid carers.
You don't need to register in advance.
Classes are held at:
Carrington Park Leisure Centre Meeting room 1 in the multipurpose building 20 O'Connor Road Knoxfield 3180
