Since joining the organisation over 2 decades ago, Joe has worn many hats, leaving an indelible impact on countless individuals seeking support through Each’s disability services.
Joe’s journey began supporting individuals who had spent years in institutional care to reclaim their independence, find meaningful work and rebuild their lives.
“A lot of the work was helping people develop the skills they needed to live back in the community and find meaningful work. It was incredibly rewarding to see them take those steps,” said Joe.
Throughout his career, Joe embraced a variety of roles, each contributing to Each’s mission in unique ways. No matter what role Joe is in, his motivation has always remained the same - helping people rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose.
One of Joe’s most cherished memories is from a client of his early career.
“I have one client in particular who, every year – even though I haven’t seen him in 15 or 20 years – still reaches out just to say thanks.”
Now, in his current role, Joe serves as a guiding voice for new clients. As the first point of contact for many, he takes pride in sharing Each’s rich history and broad range of wraparound services.
“People are often fascinated by how much Each offers," he said.
"Even some staff aren’t fully aware of how far we’ve come and how much we can do to support clients.
I’ve been fortunate to see these services evolve over the years, and I can confidently tell people, ‘We can help you.’

Joe is passionate about empowering clients who may feel lost when they first approach disability services. For him, it’s about providing clear information and instilling the confidence to make life-changing decisions.
“It’s just a matter of giving them the information and empowering them to take the next steps,” Joe explains.
Joe’s 25-year journey at Each is a testament to the power of dedication, innovation, and human connection.
