Exciting opportunity to be part of our NEW Mental Health, AOD & Suicide Prevention service in Queensland!
- FTE: Part-time 0.8FTE ongoing position.
- Location: Our offices are located in Gympie, Hervey Bay, Rockhampton & Emerald.
- Working conditions: Hybrid/WFH working conditions + travel between sites as needed.
- Salary: $45.82 p/hr + Super + Not-for-Profit Salary Packaging.
About the role
Reporting to, and supporting the Outcomes and Digital Systems Manager, the Digital and Data Officer will play a pivotal role in assisting in the implementation and supervision of the client management systems, data collection, and outcome reporting.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing digital health and care system integration: Leading initiatives for digital health and seamless system integration.
- Leveraging data for improved outcomes: Using data insights to enhance service delivery and program results.
- Managing performance metrics and reports: Developing key metrics and preparing data reports for decision-making.
- Providing staff support and training: Offering technical training on digital platforms and reporting tools.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance and data security: Maintaining compliance with regulations and ensuring data privacy.
- Driving process improvements and care coordination: Identifying improvements and enhancing coordination across services.
- Supporting care system integration and communication: Facilitating system integration and effective communication strategies.

About you
As the Digital and Data Officer you will have:
- Extensive experience in data management, digital systems, or a related field.
- A solid understanding of healthcare regulations and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and navigating multiple platforms is required, along with experience in database management and data analysis tools.
- Ability to develop and implement effective data management strategies, showcasing strong organisational and planning capabilities.
- Experience in data analytics and outcome performance measurement is essential, as well as familiarity with community-based recovery services, program evaluation, and data analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., information technology, data science, healthcare administration).
